Pictures from Turkey

Chai, Turkish black tea, was a prominent part of
the culture and one we all took part in daily.

Lunch at the fishmarket in Istabul.

Playing games and enjoying a waterpipe at one of the many Nargile Cafes.

Thanks for the news and photos! Love it Marli. My friend just sent me some herbs and spices from her stash of homemade Chai. Never really heard the word before. Now I am drinking it and reading about you drinking it.Such a queenky dink. There is always something new for us to discover when one is in the mood. I added milk and honey to mine. Please be mindful through your journeys.I'm glad you played it safe at Tahrir Square. Be wise. We want you to come back and tell us all your stories.I had no idea that you were going to be gone so long. How wonderful.I so believe in what you two are doing. I sent Christmas lights to Kathie! White on white. :)
I will be following your blog.
